The album I Like to Move It and the music video instantly propelled The Mad Stuntman to main stages across the world including Russia, Scandinavia, South Africa, Japan, Australia, the Caribbean and North America.

This very unique and eclectic style that Mark Quashie, a/k/a The Mad Stuntman, created by fusing together the essential elements of his roots – reggae, soca, dance music and R&B – started to attract the attention of marketing executives in advertising and film.

“I Like to Move It” was featured prominently as the theme song in the eternally popular film ‘Madagascar’ and its sequels. It was also included in the motion picture ‘Saving Silverman’ and as the theme for the video game ‘Miami Nights: Singles in the City.’ On the international front the song was used in ads for the National Basketball League in Australia and products in the UK. In the US, the celebrated club classic was used in ads to push sales for McDonald’s, Dunkin’ Donuts and Jeep.

The Mad Stuntman continues to travel the world doing shows and released his first full-length album entitled The Mad Stuntman Unleashed in 2017 on Global Eyes Entertainment label. Excitement continues to grow from the 13-track self-released solo project. In 2018 The Mad Stuntman stayed busy on the world touring circuit and released ‘Wave Ya Flags”( The Giberish Song) a festival song for his beloved country of Trinidad and Tobago along with a fun party video from his island home. In 2019 he released two new singles ‘Kings” and “Wine Girls” with some of the industry’s most exciting 90’s artists Cutty Ranks, Ch4se, P Version and the collaboration with German DJ Marc Korn “ U Got to Move It”.

In 2020 during the Pandemic the first new potential Global Hit was a new birthday song entitled “It’s Your Birthday”  released on Jan. 24th, 2020 a collaboration between producer Al MacDowell and The Mad Stuntman featuring Aesha Waks and The Singing Warrior. 2020 was a very productive year for The Mad Stuntman and along with AV Music continued to produce and release several more energetic and important songs such as “Fiesta” with Proyecto Uno, “Drinks and Girl” with Captain Jack, Mega Shocks and Doserock, “Put Down DE Gun” with Ch$se and Pupasean. As of the beginning of 2021, hopefully a year of healing, The Mad Stuntman along with Danny Erskine in the UK just released worldwide on the Global Eyes Entertainment label a new hit in the UK and Ghana “Midorwu Paa” (“I Love You”) in the Twi language.

An array of new opportunities and ventures are being managed by Preston “Shoes” Sullivan of Global Eyes Entertainment LP.

“As I look back on my accomplishments, I must say it has been a fantastic ride,” says The Mad Stuntman.  “I will continue to make superlative hit music, and I profoundly thank God, as well as all my fans worldwide, for turning my dreams into a reality.”
